CodeLand is glad to announce that this year we support through a donation a rural development project in\u00a0Rwanda: ”\u00a0The Gatsibo Aqueduct<\/a>\u00a0“<\/b>carried out by the international NGO MLFM. It’s a concrete initiative, a\u00a0water supply system<\/b>\u00a0that brings\u00a0clean water<\/b>\u00a0to the rural populations of\u00a0Rwanda<\/b>. MLFM<\/a><\/b>\u00a0is an NGO of Lodi born in 1964 and specialized since the early ’80s in these activities in\u00a0Rwanda<\/b>. MLFM approach is to work in cooperation with the rural community to build and set up\u00a0sustainable water services that provide clean water<\/b>\u00a0up to few meters from the houses avoiding the costly recovery of water.<\/p>\n Without this infrastructure children and women spend most of their time recovering not treated water resources. Therefore through this project\u00a0children attend school regularly, water diseases are significantly reduced and family revenue can be stabilized and growth<\/b>\u00a0due to the healthy improved condition. \nWith our aid we can build\u00a0four fountains<\/b>\u00a0and serve\u00a0200 families<\/b>, that means to serve approximately\u00a01500 dwellers<\/b>\u00a0into the Country of “thousand hills”.<\/p>\n
\nAs well this initiative contribute to the achievement of the\u00a0Sustainable Development Goals 6<\/a><\/b>\u00a0of the United Nations: “Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all”.<\/p>\n
